Clinical Process: Treatment begins with a comprehensive telehealth evaluation. If clinically appropriate, a provider may prescribe compounded medications tailored to your specific medical needs.
Pharmacy & Shipping: All prescriptions are fulfilled by licensed 503A compounding pharmacies and shipped directly to the patient. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved.
Requirements & Eligibility: Monthly visits and ongoing monitoring are encouraged to ensure safe and effective care.
Regulatory Notice: Mavie Clinic is a cash-based practice and does not participate in government-funded insurance programs, including Medicare or Medi-Cal. Services and treatments are not available to beneficiaries of these programs.

Patient Policies: Medications used in the Weight Health Program, including compounded therapies, are prescribed only after a clinical evaluation and in accordance with current medical guidelines, and are issued solely at the provider’s professional discretion. Cash-Pay Only: MaVie Clinic does not accept insurance and does not participate in Medicare or Medi-Cal. Medicare & Medi-Cal Notice: We are not enrolled in these programs and cannot provide services to beneficiaries. By booking, you attest that you are not a Medicare or Medi-Cal beneficiary. Insurance & Superbills: We do not bill insurance. Superbills are available upon request for patient records; reimbursement is not guaranteed. HSA/FSA: Itemized receipts provided; HSA/FSA cards accepted. Refund Policy: Fees are non-refundable once a visit occurs or a prescription is sent to the pharmacy. Program Requirements: Weight health patients must complete follow-up visits every 28 days for safety and medication titration. Location Requirement: Patients must be physically located in California at the time of the telehealth visit. Exclusions: Schedule II–V controlled substances are not prescribed.

Compound Fulfillment: For bundled plans, MaVie Clinic acts as the patient’s authorized agent to remit pass-through medication costs to a licensed 503A compounding pharmacy, which fulfills and ships prescriptions directly to the patient. Brand-Name Medications: Payments for FDA-approved brand-name medications are made directly by the patient to the third-party pharmacy. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved and are not generic versions of brand name drugs. Compounded medications are prepared by licensed compounding pharmacies for patient-specific use and are not reviewed by the FDA for safety or efficacy, and results are not guaranteed.
